The symbol of the city where I live is the swan. We have several lakes in town harboring dozens of descendants of swans that were given to "us" from Queen Elizabeth. I absolutely love taking time to feed them, photograph them, or just watch them glide on the water. The ones we have in town are quite indifferent to human presence, but that may be because they are so used to all of the attention. Your beautiful photo makes me think our swans are lucky to live where it's warm.

Sandy- How cool that your city has swans from Queen Elizabeth! This swan was pretty indifferent to me taking it's picture so I got several shots of it. It was super cold, though!
