Lately....
Things have been a bit of a blur for me lately. In a six week span I visited four countries, four states and had been on seventeen flights. Add some very long work days and a lot of spring yard work into the mix after I finally got home and needless to say things have been a little crazy. I have so much to share and plan to start posting again soon with life settling down a bit. In the meantime I thought I would share collages of my Instagram pictures from my recent travels.
New York, London, Madaba, Jordan's Rift Valley...
Kerak, Petra, Saqqara, Mephis, Giza, Cairo...
Luxor, Valley of the Kings, Esna, Cruising on the Nile, El Kab, Edfou...
More Cruising on the Nile, Djebel Silsileh, Kom Ombo, Aswan, Rome...
More Rome, Vatican City, Los Angeles...
More Los Angeles, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Seattle...
Seattle, Phoenix, Tonto National Forest...
...and home!

Your pictures look amazing, Lisa. I wish I could travel as much as you do. I just got back from a 3-week trip to Denmark and Sweden. I took over 6000 photos-mostly repetitive, because my 2 year old daughter refuses to pose for me. I felt overwhelmed just by going through half of them. I can't wait to see your future posts.
Ethylene- It sounds like you had a fantastic trip! Frank and I were in Denmark and Sweden last April and just loved it. What cities did you visit?
In Denmark: Copenhagen, Billund, Roskilde, Hillerod and Helsingor. In Sweden: Lund, Fotevikens Viking reserve, Kalmar, Borgholm (Oland), Visby, Faro, Stockholm, Mariefred, and Drottningholm. Where did you go? It was quite an epic journey for us, and my daughter proved to be an excellent traveller. We are glad we took the plunge, and can now look forward to the next trip. We would like to go to China, but are afraid the pollution is too much for our little one. Any plans for the rest of the year? I am loving your photos. I even miss your "photo of the day" posts. Cheers!

Ethylene- In Denmark we went to Copenhagen, Hillerød and Helsingør and then Kalmar and Stockholm in Sweden. We also visited Norway (Oslo, Sognefjord, Bergen), Estonia (Tallinn) and Finland (Helsinki) on our trip. That is fantastic that your little one was such a great traveler! I hope that Frank and I are blessed like that if we have kids someday. China would be a fantastic place to visit. When I visited Beijing and Shanghai I lucked out with clear, relatively smog free weather, but it is fairly unpredictable. As far as future trips are concerned I will be heading back to Japan in August with some domestic travel to Boston, New York and Las Vegas this summer. No plans for the fall yet...
Beautiful pictures!
