I am getting better and wonderful tips and methods always with this homeandawaywithlisa blog, keep it up. Mostly sharing about picture of the day woman selling jewelry in panjiayuan market.
Those necklaces look very cool. They remind me of some of the necklaces I have in my collection. We have hosted a lot of students and it seems that I have ended up with quite a collection of exotic necklaces and bracelets similar to the ones in this photo. Every time I wear one I am reminded of the guest who gave it to me so they are all very special to me. Thanks for the photo.
I love buying jewelry from locals. When we toured the western United States this summer, I somehow convinced my husband to stop at a roadside stand in Arizona. The Navajo women were selling all kinds of goods, but their jewelry caught my eye. One woman had sterling silver pendants which were handmade by her husband using local stone. It took a little sweet talking to get my husband to agree that I "needed" one of her pendants, but it has become one of my all-time favorite souvenirs.
Kathy- Your collection of necklaces and bracelets sounds amazing! What lovely mementos from the exchange students you have hosted!
Sandy- I love to buy handmade jewelry while I am traveling, too! It is such a lovely and meaningful souvenir plus it is great to support local artisans. My very favorite necklace is Hmong necklace that I bought in Laos.
Colorful and pretty looking neck pieces. I love handmade jewelry and have quite a few of them in my accessories collection. Other jewelries and High End Jewelers also provide great looking pieces but these necklace have a beautiful ethnic look.
