Picture of the Day: Morning Glory Pool at Yellowstone

Visit the park and don't miss the Morning Glory Pool. I used to live near Yellowstone Park at Bozeman; in fact, I graduated from high school in Bozeman in 1966 and with a master's in soil science from MSU Bozeman in 1979. I no longer live in Montana, but believe I’ve still got one of the finest photos of the Morning Glory Pool taken in 1965 before the pollution and color changes and when the full circle walkway was still in place and you could see reflections of people in the pool. When I first uploaded it, it was getting 300 views per day, but I took it down. It’s now back up, take a look, please. I’d worked hard on a ranch near Glacier all summer for $75, spent half on a then old camera, the first 35mm SLR made. This was a 35mm slide, computer scanned about 2006.
