The colour contrasts are so vibrant. I have from my days of travel seen this myself - did you know that many, not all, of these black horses are bred by the Canadian Royal Mounted Police. Many years ago the Queen's personal mount was also a black Mountie horse given as a gift on, which specific occasion, I forget.
